Zorgvliet Private Residence Club announces novel marketing approach - sampler programme

The Zorgvliet Private Residence Club has introduced a sampler programme aimed at reassuring clients interested in shared ownership of vacation homes. Explains Zorgvliet Private Residence Club CEO Mac Van der Merwe: “Market research has indicated that South Africans are unsure of the benefits and operation of this ownership model. There is a gap in the marketing strategies followed by the fractional ownership industry, in that while the public do not feel comfortable with or are unsure of the concept, most focus is placed on business to business communications and deliberations.

We believe that if we can share the value proposition of the offerings of the Zorgvliet Private Residence Club with potential clients, and have them experiencing them, we can cultivate a better understanding - and at the same time stimulate sales.

“I truly believe that the fractional market must be consumer-driven. Our sampler programme will allow people to stay a few days at any of our prime destinations at greatly discounted prices, and to find out more about the Zorgvliet Private Residence Club and the accruing benefits.

This opportunity is experience-driven and potential purchasers will be able to clarify any of their uncertainties regarding the benefits and how to optimise the unique advantages.”

Zorgvliet Private Residence Club has introduced the sampler programme at Ka’Ingo Private Game Reserve (usage vacation ownership) and Dinkweng Safari Camp luxury lodges (fractional ownership) – both in the Waterberg, Limpopo, where the Big Five may be seen on exclusive game drives; at Zorgvliet and Alluvia Vineyard Lodges (both options) in the beautiful Banhoek Valley in Stellenbosch; and at the King George Hotel (fractional ownership) in George.

There is no obligation to buy. Sampler offerings at Zorgvliet and Alluvia Vineyard Lodges are available from R1600 per couple per night, breakfast included, and at Ka’Ingo Private Reserve Main Lodge at R1450 per person or R2900 per couple, all inclusive (breakfast, dinner and game drives). At the Dinkweng Safari Camp the sampler rate is from R3500 per day per luxury three-bedroom lodge for two couples, including breakfast, dinner and game drive, and R2500 for one couple .

Adds Mac van der Merwe: “We have many interested purchasers in the UK and are making sampler programmes available to them too. Whether from near or far – for those interested but not sure of the ownership option, or who want to know more about the offerings and experiences, being able to book a sampler makes great sense. It will allow folk to find out what living in the Winelands is all about, and how to enjoy this millionaire fraternity lifestyle without the exuberant costs involved - or how to own your piece of the authentic African Bushveld and become  part of various conservation projects at a five-star Big Five private game reserve.”

Introductory pricing on fractional ownership or usage agreements at Zorgvliet and Alluvia Vineyard Lodges is from R77 000 per week and at Ka’Ingo Private Game Reserve main lodge from R60 000 per week. One-week share ownership options at Dinkweng start at R120 000.
