Perfectcar Waterless Car Wash
Perfectcar is South Africa's leading Eco Friendly Waterless Car Wash and Valeting Business
Showroom Shine Guaranteed every time. Perfectcar is leading the way in waterless car washing and valet, whilst also being the most environmentally friendly waterless car wash operation available in South Africa. Our waterless service is comparable with high quality conventional car wash systems, the major difference is that we save thousands of litres of precious water daily.
By the year 2025 two-thirds of world population will have to cope with water stresses. South Africa, with its semi-arid conditions, variable climate and rapidly growing population is one of the countries that is affected. The region is already becoming increasingly prone to periodic water shortages that threaten necessary developments and even the sustainability of existing industry and agriculture. We provide a range of valeting services for our customers using the latest in waterless technologies that provide a superb finish as well as being environmentally friendly and mess free. The product will clean, seal and protect the bodywork of your vehicle and is complemented by other top quality valeting products e.g. mags, tyres, interior etc. No risk, no scratches - that's our guarantee to you!

The Waterless way
Perfectcar franchises work with the latest highly specialised waterless technologies. These high quality products are based on a nano technique to capture all kinds of dust and dirt instantly. This allows for the easy removal of dirt and debris from your car paint without scratching.
Initially, all cars are inspected and any heavy or thick dirt is removed before we commence with the waterless clean. The vehicle is applied with our exterior cleaning product which is then wiped off and buffed to a high polish.
The waterless product cleans, seals and protects your bodywork in much the same way as it would if you were to wash, polish then wax your vehicle. After a waterless valet your vehicle will have an outstanding shine while water dispersants help keep your car cleaner for longer. UV protectants will protect your paintwork, comparable to premium waxes at competitive prices. This process eliminates the need of excessive water usage, hose pipes, buckets and waxes when cleaning/valeting your vehicle.
Our special products include specific cleaning solutions for your entire vehicle. For this reason we make sure that our staff goes through specialised application and product knowledge training.
Perfectcar valets vehicles of all shapes and sizes, from small saloons to super-cars. We valet caravans, motor homes, motorbikes, boats and jet ski's. At Perfectcar we will treat your car as if it was our own and return it to you in showroom condition every time because we understand that your vehicle is important to you!
After a Perfectcar waterless car wash treatment your car looks as good as new - Guaranteed

How can Perfectcar services reduce water consumption for resort owners?
[CB] We save 100 – 150 litres of drinking water per car washed. We stop the possible pollution of 1 500 litres of water per car washed should the polluted water runoff into the underground water supply. Your establishment will be seen as taking the correct steps, by partnering up with perfectcar, to stop this pollution and water wastage should your clients/customers wash their vehicles at a conventional water car wash.
Why is it important for resort owners to address the water shortage issues in order to comply with new guidelines?
[CB] Besides it being the law, it is a well known fact that golf courses use hundreds of thousands of litres of water daily and are always criticised for this. Perfectcar has a unique concept and the perfect opportunity, not only for golf estates, to let their members/clients know that they are taking the correct steps to helping save our quickly depleting water levels due to the large amounts that the estates use themselves.
Would you say that you are an Eco-Friendly service?
[CB] We are very much an eco friendly carwash business compared with other car wash businesses in South Africa. We are however still continuously striving to become even more eco friendly. Being an eco friendly business does not only mean that your business is taking steps to becoming more eco friendly but also that your suppliers are taking the same steps in the same direction. We can proudly say that we are the most eco friendly business in South Africa.
Where in South Africa can one get their vehicle cleaned by a Perfect car franchise?
[CB] We currently have 9 available sites in the Western Cape; Atlantic Beach Golf Estate, Seaside Village Shopping Centre, Eden on the Bay (The Blouberg Waterfront), Bayside Shopping Centre, Paddocks Shopping Centre, Picbel Parcade in Strand Street, Wembley Square, Steenberg Golf Estate and Westport Square. Due to the continued queries from other parts of South Africa we have recently opened regional offices in Gauteng, Kwazulu Natal, Eastern Cape and the Garden Route. We have a number of sites under negotiations around the country at present and will be increasing our numbers substantially on an ongoing basis.
How much space is required for a Perfect car operation to be set up – let’s say at a Golf Course?
[CB] There are a number of factors that are involved when recognising the correct area and size thereof. There is always a discussion that will take place between perfectcar and the golf estate. Been a golfer myself, I am aware that each club has their own rules and regulations that will need to be adhered to at all times. One must bear in mind that not every golf club is conducive to opening a perfectcar eco friendly carwash but the vast majority are.
In order to set up an operation – do you need to own a Perfectcar franchise?
[CB] Yes, you must own a perfectcar franchise. Previous experience has shown that it is best to franchise our operations out to a separate party and not to the estate or establishment directly. The daily hands on approach is by far the better way for you and your clients/customers. This way a relationship is established between the franchisee and client/customer. Should the estate or establishment want to run the site themselves, then we are certainly not against it.
What unique selling point do you offer, over a conventional water based car wash?
[CB] We have a number of unique selling points. We do not need any expensive recycling systems, sand traps, drainage facilities, water hoses/guns, oil separating tanks etc. Therefore there are no disruptions or inconvenience caused to your customers/clients when placing these systems under ground. We recycle all rubbish that is removed from washed vehicles, making us even more eco friendly. We use very little electricity at our sites in view of the fact that we hand wash all of our vehicles. To date perfectcar has saved over 16 000 000 litres of water, I think that is quite unique and we are very proud of this fact.

Water.org extends US$ 2 million assistance to people of Haiti
16 October
Cape Town, South Africa
At the opening plenary of the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting, Water.org co-founders Matt Damon and Gary White announced the organization’s $2 million commitment to provide 50,000 people in Haiti with safe water and sanitation over the next three years. As part of the commitment, Water.org has also launched a social media campaign so that anyone can participate in meeting the water challenge in Haiti.
“The situation in Haiti is extreme – it’s the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and nearly half of its people don’t have access to clean water,” said Water.org Co-Founder Gary White. “Expanding Water.org’s programming to Haiti will help people break the cycle of disease and poverty.”
Water.org’s Haiti Commitment will reach beneficiaries with grant-driven programs while also exploring opportunities with microfinance institutions in Haiti under its WaterCredit Initiative. WaterCredit is a financial innovation that brings microfinance to the world’s poor who lack safe water and sanitation. It is the first comprehensive program of its kind to move beyond grant-driven charity and enables microfinance activity in the water and sanitation sector. WaterCredit leverages commercial capital and motivates microfinance institutions to launch loan portfolios to assist the poor who lack basic water and sanitation services.
The Haiti Challenge is a new website that encourages visitors to fundraise and “friend-raise” for the cause through their online social networks. Getting a friend to really care about the water crisis is as important as asking for a donation. The website includes new technologies that leverage the most popular social media sites, making it quick and easy for people to invite their friends and followers to support the cause.
Gary White and Mike McCamon will be in New York this week for the announcement and other press briefings.
