Singapore-based Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts, one of the top 10 hotel groups in the world, have awarded exclusive rights to Pam Golding Properties to market their prestigious, award-winning Banyan Tree Private Collection in Southern Africa - with membership offered through fractional ownership options.
The collection is an unmatched portfolio of 5-Star De Luxe resorts in exotic prime locations around the world and Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts is a leading niche resort developer and operator with over 250 awards and accolades won since the first resort was built in 1994, and whose spas are globally renowned.
Comments Andrew Golding, CE of the Pam Golding Property group: 'The group is delighted to be associated with this prestigious product, having been appointed on the basis of the strong synergy between the two brands, with PGP having been at the forefront of the fractional ownership industry in South Africa - coupled with our sound track record in the global marketing of prime, top-end real estate to clients of high net worth.Purely through word of mouth via this network, we already have close to 60 interested buyers whom we are currently in contact with.
'There really is no comparable product.
For a once-off fee of US$120 000, members are entitled to seven days' stay each year at any of the premium resorts in exotic destinations in the Asia Pacific, Americas, Europe and gateway cities of the world.
There are already over 150 villas in existing resorts which include prime locations such as Phuket in Thailand, Bintan in Indonesia, Lijiang and Ringha in China, the Maldives and Seychelles. With numerous additional resorts due for completion next year (2008) in Bali, Mexico, Barbados, Morocco, Greece, India, China and Thailand, the club will continue to add villas in new destinations in the most sought after locations in Europe and America.
'Whatever your idea of utopia is, be it amid snow-capped mountains or silent, secluded forests - or alongside a tranquil, tropical sea, the Collection caters for whatever environment you desire, with total emphasis on luxury, leisure and privacy,' says Jose Ventura, MD of Pam Golding Vacation in Property (VIP), which specialises in the marketing of fractional ownership options.
'Banyan Tree Private Collection members have full access to resort amenities - including spas, golf courses, swimming pools, restaurants, gymnasiums, tennis, water recreation facilities and libraries. A membership privilege card also provides discounts for spa treatments, gallery products, golf and additional stays at Banyan Tree resorts.
Travel arrangements are made on your behalf - with airport transfers included, and a full concierge service is provided at each resort. It's essentially a completely hassle-free holiday with every detail taken care of, which means that members can relax fully, be pampered and take full advantage of all that is on offer - in particular the exceptionally scenic environment and tranquil ambience of this premium accommodation,' says Jose. At Banyan Tree resorts members will have access to two bedroom villas. Says Jose: 'However, the seven day stay will equate to 10 days should a member decide to use a one bedroom villa instead of a two bedroom villa in any one year. Conversely, the seven days will equate to five days when used for a three to five bedroom private villa.
This provides for flexibility of options. In addition, the seven day stay can be split into two separate vacations. An annual fee of US$3 000 secures the membership, with the major portion utilised for maintaining the villas and providing membership services.'
