Rental pool rented out on the owner’s behalf by the resort management team and the owner is paid a rental pool dividend. Rental pool income is calculated on a monthly basis, and the nett distribution is paid out after deduction of direct costs and a management fees. An owner does not have the risk inconvenience and costs associated with doing your own private rentals.

How long has your company been operating in the vacation ownership market?
[PF] MagicBreakaways has since its formation in 1984 established itself as a market leader in high quality resort property development.
MagicBreakaways Leisure Developments and its subsidiary MagicBreakaways Property Developments is the resort development arm of the Legacy Group of companies, a large African corporation in the hotel and hospitality industry.
MagicBreakaways and its management team have been responsible for the development, marketing of some of Southern Africa’s mixed-use resorts including Kwa Maritane, Bakubung, La Cote d’Azur, Kruger Park Lodge, Castleburn and Wilderness Dunes. Elephant Point an exclusive estate in Mpumalanga is the latest property development to be developed by the group.
The Legacy Private Residencies – what resorts does membership include?
[PF] Each of the resorts has been developed by MagicBreakaways Leisure Developments and is managed by Legacy Hotels and Resorts, all rated by RCI as Gold Crown Resorts.

A visit to this tranquil oasis offers guest the opportunity to capture the spirit of Africa perched on the slopes of an ancient volcano. In redesigning the dining area, the unusual rock formations have been featured to their best advantage. A new terrace has been constructed along the front of the existing restaurant to allow guests to dine under the stars (weather permitting) with stunning views of "the rock", park and watering hole. New decor and state-of-the-art buffet facilities complete the fresh look of our new restaurant. Extending your dining experience, the lodge has created an outdoor cooking area on the edge of the pool deck. All equipment is built-in, gas powered and can be used in all weather conditions.
The Wildlife Department, which has moved to a larger office, has also taken this opportunity to completely revamp its displays and guest offerings. Guides in the department will place greater emphasis on improved educational displays to replace those lost in the fire. These will be unique and will offer more comprehensive information. The department will also have a small cinema where wildlife DVD's will be shown and where presentations and educational lectures can be conducted. Some of the guides have received astronomy training and will be able to provide "Star Gazing" talks with the aid of a newly acquired telescope to enhance your bush experience.
This full service lodge offers all the amenities of a prime resort in the heart of the Pilanesberg National Park, offers 90 en-suite hotel rooms, a restaurant and bar as well of a host of leisure activities to keep the entire family satisfied.
